An old favorite. An arrogant Russian prince meets a indomitable English lady and sparks fly. Kat was acerbic, funny and adorable in her haughtiness. Dimitri is insufferable and spoiled and his comeuppance is well deserved. A fabulous read although very politically incorrect. ( )

Regency Romance. Russian prince Dimitri kidnaps lady Katherine and refuses to accept she is a lady. OK

Typical Lindsey historical. Overblown emotional yarn with great characters. Quick read. ( )

Honestly this book bothered me... a lot. I do not considered being handled the way that she did as romantic in any conceivable way. It is criminal in fact. I don't know any woman who would like to be subjected in the same manner as she did no matter how dashing, how handsome, how charming her "abductor" is. With this thought looming over me, I could not, for the life of me, get on with the story and the characters. This is one of the most disturbing book I've ever read. ( )
