Blake thought that his Grandpa was a pain in the neck sometimes. He took over Blake's room and Blake had to move out to the sunroom. And Grandpa told boring stories about his life - over and over again. But now Grandpa was gone, Blake remembered some other things about him, like how he was good at fixing things and how he had made a whole shelf of animals out of horseshoe nails. Blake's Grandpa lived with them for the last months of his life, which made life difficult for Blake and his parents. Even though Blake can think of all these reasons why it's good Grandpa isn't there, he misses him.
