Although the cover says the book is titled The New Testament, the official title is The New Testament of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is a very unconventional, but interesting New Testament in the King James Version. It contains many Biblical pictures and maps illustrating the New Testament. Unfortunately, the print is small, so difficult to read and the pictures are black and white and sometimes a little too small. The pictures are worth so much in illustrating the Bible. This book is found on the library shelves under the number 225.52/Bib.
I'm not going to try reviewing this collection. I already find it hard to review most poetry I read. When it's a 5 star rating, just know that I feel it deserves it and the experience of reading the book is a much better use of your time than any review I could write.
I really enjoyed this book of poems from Brown. I enjoyed her first book [b:Please|4498962|Please|Jericho Brown|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348248625s/4498962.jpg|4547940], as well. The two are great, and different, and worth owning.

This particular edition is wood bound and filled with colorful pictures. It was apparantly designed for the Jerusalem tourist market. That is where my great-grandparents purchased it, anyway. As to the content. It's a pretty standard "red letter" issue of the Gospels.
