If i was a teacher I wouldn’t actually read this book to my class because it is quite long but I would have it in my classroom library to read. I would love to see my students reading this book of silly poems about pigs to themselves or with friends
A plethora of amusing five-line poems.
More often than not, the last word in the first line is the same as the last word in the fifth line.
Genre: Poetry

Media: Watercolor and Ink

Summary: This book is thirty-eight different limericks about pigs. The limericks were funny and kids would enjoy them. I could use this book to teach children good examples of limericks, because it has so many examples. I could also use it to show students that poems could be fun. This book was a good example of a poetry book because it shows many examples of limericks to really grasp the idea. This book is also a good example because it is a lot of fun and would have students engaged in the reading.
