Saturn by Thomas K,. Adamson has written this very simplified version of Saturn in a way that young students can read and visually see Saturn's location and physical aspect. The book also has a beautiful cover of the plant Saturn,. The author's text and the words tell about Saturn, Saturn's picture covers the whole cover so there are no distractions for the students. Each page in this book follows the same order. The words are on one page and the picture is on the other side, This book's title page is on the plain side and it has a small picture of Saturn, which doesn't distract from the information,. The copyright page and other pages in the book on the story side are in a pastel color. This book has a summary, and also a paragraph show more titled Note to Parents and Teachers. There is a Table of Contents in the front and a very nicely done Glossary, a Read More and Internet Sites page, and lastly an Index page. On the bottom of the Index page is a Word Count: of 136, and a recommendation for Grade: 1 students, also an Early-Intervention Level of14 is given. This book is done nicely for Kindergarten and First graders to read independen show less
This book talks about the planet Saturn. It tells where it is at in the solar system and what it's made of. Saturn has 31 moons and it's rings are made of rocks and ice. The book also says that Saturn and its rings are 10 times bigger than the Earth.

Good book for children to learn about our solar system with this series of books.

A teacher could use this series of books to learn about our planets and solar system.
