Relatively boring start but picks up w John Hennessey chapter. He pulls no punches in detailed personal characterizations of AOP Corp commanders. Pithy..
Particularly enjoy enlarged photos from Battles and Leaders of the Civil War, which has always been a favorite of mine.
Carmichael very critical of Gordon and Heth memoirs and explains his views on actions of Hill and Ewell. Speaks favorably about Hill. Not much good to say about Lee.
Vermont brigade piece was good, broken down to regiment level and focuses on several 1st hand accounts.
Two different men named Krick also contributed...

He is the author or co-author of several books including Lee and His Generals in War and Memory and The Confederate War.
