Jolly interesting! Rather a tome - took me three years to get round to reading it because it is a paper brick, nay breize block. Well worth the effort however, because it tells you about lots of interesting writers, characters, minds and works that you haven't heard of, and they are just as interesting as the ones you have heard of.
Great, increases the number of interesting things to read et c., and illustrates the political point that it has happened.

Over 700 pages of descriptions of well-known women in the history of the women's movement that fit the title. A wonderful historical account!
