I was pleasantly surprised at the breadth of topics covered (and very well covered) in this book. I expected some insight on telemarketing, credit scams, and identity theft. I got that, as well as a plethora of information on buying a new or used car: not just avoiding scams, but how to negotiate without antagonizing the other party. And notwithstanding the AARP (American association of retired people) imprint on the cover, there are many tips for younger people, such as university applicants seeking scholarship money (although many or most of those are more applicable to American students) and many tips relevant to Canadians. I would unhesitatingly recommend this book to anyone in North America who spends money. ( ) no reviews | add a review
