Book gives an overview of equipment, fire building, and cooking on a grill. It then goes into several sections with recipes on how to cook different foods.

Helen Evans Brown's little book about oysters includes, in her introduction,
a description of M.F.K. Fisher as "...today's eloquent author of things gastronomical."
The very next year, Fisher wrote the introduction to Helen Brown's Holiday Cookbook.
Brown must surely have been strongly influenced by Fisher's Consider the Oyster.
