MissMac- got the charity points, thanks. I'm about to go to the store to replenish my supply of packing tape, then I should send stacks of packages tomorrow morning.

Kristin
MissMac- sorry I didn't reply before, but I didn't get a yellow message bar on my screen until tonight. Hmmmmm... If you want to email me your address, I can send the books on CD.

Kristin
MissMac- I have received the audiobook The History Boys and reserved it for you in my inventory (turtlegirl) as Angel Book #5. I have about 2-3 more drives left before I'll be done with The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet (I had never heard of it before, but it's really good) that I can send also.

Kristin
The book has arrived and is reserved for you, but has some problems that should have been listed in condition notes. There is water damage and quite a bit of highlighting throughout the book. It is readable, but certainly not in new condition. Please feel free to pass on it if you would like to find a better copy for your library.
I'm happy to do it! I have a nephew who is autistic, so I am especially glad to assist with being an angel for this particular book.
MissMac- Sorry, I lied, I didn't get An Uncommon Reader on CD after all- apparently I was clicking through so quickly that I didn't notice that another user got it before me. They seem to have gotten to most of that owner's audiobook collection in one swoop, so I'm glad I got the one I did for you. I have an audiobook of The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet that I haven't listened to yet. I'd be happy to reserve it for you when I'm done.

Kristin
MissMac,

Tempted All Night was waiting for me when I returned from vacation. I'm posting it to BM reserved for ASDfriendly. I'm turtlegirl on BM.

Kristin
Not your fault. I'm discussing it with a Belgian worldwide member. *steeples fingers*
Did he say no UK or no Europe, or didn't specify which? :/

Thanks for trying. :)

Now he's got a reserved moocher in the Philippines which is even farther. :)
He's idle right now, but he did send stuff earlier (including a light one to me). If you don't hear on the "ask" by next Saturday, try mooching it directly? And then I'm fully willing to wait a while for it. :)
Michaela,

I just finished Belva Plain's The Carousel, and it's about the same number of pages as the book I angeled for you. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone to read it. I'll put that in the package too when the time comes. There's no need to spend extra points on it though. When I do receive the book I angeled for you, should I reserve it in your name or ASDfriendly?

Kristin
Hi MissMac,
In case you haven't checked back to the Angels Needed post, I've got your book mooched for you, although I didn't realize it for a while. When I mooched it, I got a message that the owner had removed it from inventory. When I came back to the LT forum, there was already a note to you that it was gone, so I didn't reply also. I just noticed a few minutes ago that the book is in my "Pending" on BM, so I'm not really sure what happened there. There's no need to mooch a 2nd book, especially since my inventory is only 2 books at the moment. If you want me to mooch a book from someone else to send to you, that's fine. Or you can pick something from my LT library and I'll hurry up and read it. Whatever is fine with me!!

Kristin (turtlegirl on BM)
No need to request for a second book. I'm not requiring it. *_*
Hi, MissMac.

I got the 3rd Jillian Hunter (Delight) for you. Will let you know what happens.
I can also grab another copy of the 1st book "The Husband Hunt", if that's useful?
Haha! Yeah, it wasn't my plan either. I had to have a plate and 4 screws put in. I can't walk for 8 weeks. Fortunately my boss will be letting me do some work from home - not my regular hours but better than nothing! I'm glad for the extra reading time though - woohoo!
Well, I broke my ankle so I finally finished "What Jane Austen Ate..."!
What a way to get reading time!

What is your BM ID so I can reserve the book for you?
I'm still working on "What Jane Austen Ate" - don't think I forgot you!
To be honest, I'm having trouble getting through it.
It's more like an encyclopedia to use as a reference when reading books from those time periods, in my opinion - so it's like reading an encyclopedia straight through. I've known people who read encyclopedias like that, haha, but not me!
But I've learned some helpful things so I'll keep plodding along. But all these other books keep pulling me away! :D
Happy reading,
Angela
Hi Miss Mac,
Just so you know, I received the book: What Jane Austen Ate and Charles Dickens Knew. Give me a few weeks to read it and then I will reserve it for you if you still want it.
Sound good?
