Hehe! I was reading "Acceptance" and stopped midway through as well. I'm still not sure why because I was enjoying it. Your review just reminded me of that fact! I'll perhaps pick it up at another time. I did, in the past, enjoy Susan Coll's book called "Rockville Pike". of course, I live within walking distance of the real Rockville Pike so that might have had something to do with it. :)

I've almost finished "High School Confidential" and I completely agree with your assessment of this book. The "Phi Beta Kappa"(sigh) author has a writing "style"(?) that makes reading his book an exercise in frustration.
Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites.
