The Dictionary of Everyday American English Expressions fills a distinct need -- for mostly-everyday expressions that aren't 'idioms', nor phrasal verbs, nor straight definitions -- just invaluable examples of real usage, that you might otherwise miss. As a longtime EFL teacher, I've found it truly invaluable when planning lessons for students at all levels of fluency.
