I Love this book. It is a fun and interesting way to get children thinking about the germs they spread and the sickness it can cause. We tend to forget about them because we cant see them and this book brings a good point that they are invisible but still there! it talks about proper handwashing and how it kills the germs and has great pictures of kids and made up germs. You can use it to ask children questions about times they've gotten sick and what germ they think caused it or have them show more make their own germs. We can talk about all kinds bacteria that is in other things and how that can make us sick. I loved this book for my handwashing unit. show less
A story about Rosa, a 5 year old who collects germs throughout the day as she plays in different areas in the classroom. The images depict funny visualizations of what the germs might look like, and of course the book documents how to get rid of germs. Great for making connections to self, Rosa is 5, in a classroom, collecting germs and washes her hands- all daily life for a pre-kinder or kindergartner.
