Flesh and Blood by J.A. Cipriano and Conner Kressley is book two in the series of the Half-Demon Warlock but can be read as a stand alone and the reader won't get lost. I love this series from the get-go! Our hero is the half demon-half warlock and all cop. He is also trying to save his human girlfriend from some very nonhuman creatures. My favorite character in the series is his best friend, an imp named Gary! I love this little smartie pants. Sometimes I think he is the only one with his show more head on straight! I would love to see a book based more around him! This book brings in people from other worlds/dimensions to help and to hurt our hero. Also some family members that I would love to see more of in the future books because they are kick butt characters. This book is action packed from the very beginning to the very end. The action never lets up and there are so many twists and turns the reader could get dizzy. The crazy imagination, the creatures/characters involved, the plots, the fun ride is all awesome. Lots of magic, mysteries, adventure, suspense, humor, and intrigue to keep the reader glued to the pages. I can't wait for book three already! Awesome book but I love all his books I have read. I can't read them fast enough, but this series is my favorite. I received this book to read from the author (I begged) but was under no obligation to leave a review but it is soooo good, I have to share. show less
I was invited to join a Facebook party celebrating this compilation of books and novellas being sold for 99 cents. I had to pick them up, I mean, less than five cents per story, what a deal! I quickly read the novellas by Rebecca Hamilton and Steven Kariel and will be reading more in this bundle soon.

The novella by Rebecca Hamilton is part of the Forever Girl series and takes place in the 1800’s. It includes elementals and beings that are dual in nature. The love story is sweet and not show more resolved till the very end of the story. The story by Steven Kariel was dark and also set in the 1800’s. The story started with a man reading a journal and carried on from there. It was an interesting twist and had a twisted ending that left me wondering – in an interesting intriguing way.

This bundle is definitely worth the money – it includes books that are okay for various ages of readers and provides stories from a variety of genres all in one bundle.

Escape from Hell: A LITRPG Adventure
Kingdom of Heaven, Book 2
By: J.A. Cipriano, Conner Kressley
Narrated by: Jeff Hays, Soundbooth Theater
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
This continues the story and the team now has to battle out of this level. The problem is, Iron Jack is really feeling every bit of it. If they all don't make it out, they will have to restart and make new characters. Iron Jack can't, he would be stuck there. In hell. They meet new friends and show more enemies. There are very funny parts. Jack is listening to his team eat as he is battling and getting bruised. It reminds him how safe they are and how close to death he is. One comments on how out of breath he is after they make a long run, of course he is really running and they ask if he is on a cross track trainer or such. It is very clever. Lots of humor and silly things things thrown in to keep it fun! Loved all the fun characters. Felt I knew them all, they were so well crafted.
The narrator was absolutely wonderful! From a sultry woman to a willy jackal, he had the voices down perfect!

The Skull Throne
Kingdom of Heaven, Book 1
By: J.A. Cipriano, Conner Kressley
Narrated by: Jeff Hays
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
This book I found to be much more personable for a LITRPG. The characters seemed more real and and I picture them as a person when they were not playing and experienced the fun and excitement when they were playing. Because it was more personal, the team playing was more interesting and more dramatic. Plus, no one knew that one of show more there friends was in the game for real! He was really feeling the hits, falls, and battles. There was humor too. A good all around fun read!
The narrator made this extra great! All the voices, emotions, sounds,....just perfect! Loved it, tipped it up a notch or two!
