DHTML and CSS for the World Wide Web, Second Edition (Visual QuickStart Guide) by Jason Cranford Teague
Not a great book, but one can't really hope for that in tech books released as rapidly as possible to track emerging technology.
This was adequate, taught me what I wanted to know about the boundaries of DHTML, and was better than most computer books of its ilk.
