A man and his dog build a rocket to go to the moon.
So much whimsy. It's kind of sad that all the other Wallace & Gromit films are spoofs of film genres (although I guess you could argue this one is a take-off of "A Trip to the Moon"); their best moments are when they're just doing their own thing.

Five Stars for all the fun Illustrations and expressions, but the plot ruined too violent for kids.
Wallace's new girlfriend is planning to murder him.
It's entertaining, but there's nowhere near the level of delightfulness that I expect from Aardman Animations. And it's not actually funny, unless you're one of those people who thinks references to classic movies are inherently funny.

Animals talk about being in the zoo.
Clever and funny, but not nearly as good as the TV series. With only a few minutes, most of the characters don't get a chance to be anything beyond a gag.
