This book saved my sanity when I was learning to write research papers the right way as an undergraduate English major. I used it for every paper I wrote, both as an undergrad and also when getting my Master's degree. I had a reputation within the English dept. for writing good papers. Part of that was my own good ideas (OK, that's not very modest, is it), but a lot of it was from using this book and learning to do it right. Thank you, James D. Lester!
The single most useful reference book EVER. It was one of my textbooks my freshman year of high school. Five years later, I still keep it at my fingertips anytime I'm writing a paper.
This is a pretty good reference guide on writing...one used in one of my college classes.
This is a book that was required in college and I still use today. Great to have around, even if your not an avid writer like myself.
