About the Author
Lisa Snyder is a clinical social worker and Director of the Quality of Life programs at the University of California, San Diego's Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, where she has worked with people with Alzheimer's and their families for more than 20 years. Her many years of show more expertise in facilitating support groups and other programs for people with early-stage Alzheimer's gives her intimate knowledge of the concerns, experiences, and coping strategies of people living with the diagnosis. She is author of the book Speaking Our Minds-What It's Like to Have Alzheimer's and editor of the international quarterly Perspectives-A Newsletter for Individuals with Alzheimer's or a Related Disorder. show less
