Young Reader Reaction: This book is fun; it has good pictures and steps. I read this book several times because I liked that it teaches me how to make the project and who invented it. This is a nice book for science projects.

Adult Reader Reaction: What an interesting book to read! We learned things, too. We especially liked how the book offered hands-on activities to make inventions more relevant to kids. This is a good book for elementary-school science projects.

Pros: This is the perfect show more book when you want something for the kids to read AND give them something to do. Teacher reviewer: "It is the best for reading and the projects you can do."

Local merchants in a busy street market tell the story of THE WRIGHT BROTHERS' GLIDER. This book tells the factual biography of the Wright Brothers within a fictional storyline.
The layout is logical, not confusing. Kids could easily read just one or the other at one time if they chose to. These books are chock-full of factual information and lively illustrations.
I really liked this book for its informational aspects. I especially liked how the boy found a quill that belonged to Shakespeare. I also really liked how there were different little blurbs about Shakespeare and his work. I especially liked the illustrations. They were eye catching and made the book interesting. The main theme of the story was Shakespeare.
This book talks about what islands are and what are normally found on and around them. Meanwhile on the side of the page tells a story about Joe and how he survived being stranded on an island alone.
