Ralph Venning (1621–1674)

Great little sermon from Ralph Venning. Well divided in the Puritan fashion. Very evangelistic. His text is Matthew 7:21. It was originally preached at Paul’s Cross, London, in 1655 and later edited and enlarged slightly for publication at the behest of Christopher Packe, the Mayor of London, to whom it was dedicated. This version modernises the text for ease of reading.
