Gary Barlow

I'm a sort of fan of Take That, got the cds seen the videos but never bothered seeing them live or anything. But enough of a fan of Gary Barlows music to pick this up second hand. It's the story of his life up till around 2004 ish and tells of growing up in Cheshire, playing the clubs and then the success with TT.
It's a good read, co written by a professional writer but obviously in Garys own words. Easy to get through and interesting enough. Some good background stories and interesting show more opinions on songs he wrote or recorded. show less

I have gone off Take That's more recent stuff but this book is amazing. It really highlights what went on in the early days to now and i thoroughly enjoyed it

Even though I love Take That and have been a fan since the beginning (..and still am!), I was disappointed by this. I didn't enjoy the writing style and felt that sometimes it's better to remain a little illusive, ignorance is bliss after all!
