This is a great book on how to make thread buttons. The instructions are clear and concise and the buttons I made turned out beautifully. Included is a little history on each style. I highly recommend this book. The buttons I made were a little bit if a meditation similar to knitting or crochet and I enjoyed it very much.
Superb book. Excellent directions for making small round objects using needle lace, knotting, crochet and several other techniques. Although the author only thinks of them as buttons, there is no reason not to use them for jewelry as findings, pendents and charms. Clear instructions and interesting history of techniques.
Purely a sewing with beads project book - no jewelry but the fringe ideas are noteworthy.
