This is a very good quote book that gives readers a wide range of Luther's words on an impressive range of topics. There are two flaws in the book: all of the references are to the orginal language sources of the quotes, when most people who own Luther's works own the American Edition, It would help to know which works of Luther the quotes are from up front. The second flaw is a rather ecclectic index. My Bible Companion by Ewald Plass is a small but helpful book. It contains many of the Bible passages; most of them are given in the King James Version, but there are some in the Revised Standard Version as well. Scriptures are arranged by topic, but it also contains an index since some passages can be under more than one topic. For instance a passage on the atonement of sin can be found under sin, but it can be located in the index under atonement.
