This book was just ok for me. I got it because I love textiles and sewing. I liked that many different artists were featured but all their work looked pretty much the same. There are no tutorials and the guidance on how to slow stitch in a similar manner is done through long laborious text heavy explanations. The cover art is beautiful.

Interesting, inspiring, beautiful and a bit disappointing. don't want a paint-by numbers guide but pictures and information about what is done with these pieces. Exquisite photos but 99% are close ups of small bits.
