I enjoyed this book and it left me wanting to read the next book in the series. Katherine is a divorced mother raising her small son with little help from her jerk of an ex-husband. She has no time for dating until the new guy shows up. The chemistry between Katherine and Jace is hot. Do Kat & Jace end up together? Does the scummy ex get his due? Not in book one.
This was a good story, a modern day take on the 'mail order bride'. I found Colton quite funny at how direct he was.
There was an unnecessary scene early on before he meets his 'one'. I think the author did it to show what his life used to be like, he meets a woman at a bar they have a one night stand and then he wants her to leave. The issue i had with this is this sort of lifestyle is referred to several times through his two friends so there was no need for this scene.
ok, but just ok. i don't know if it is because of the two book series that i read right before this one that were excellent -- but i could not get into the story. for some reason the writing seemed very young.

i am not going to finish the series
Uh

Kind of a train wreck for me. Tried dnf several times but nodded through. Generally love this author so not certain about this disconnect, but it was trite guess.
