Listened to audio co-narrated by Melissa Barr and Paul Brion.
Knox is this bad boy biker that finds himself arrested for a murder he didn't commit.
Monroe is an attorney fresh out of college, recently hired by the firm that represents Knox's MC. At first she doesn't want anything to do with his case believing him guilty before seeing any evidence but once she takes his case on she quickly realizes his innocence.
I liked the story, but OMG the sex scenes. They were so bad, I show more almost DNF.
So the following descriptors turned me off and almost turned me away from finishing this book…
-dripping pussy, paunch, thick legs, poured her juices out, pussy about to pop, cock sloshing in and out, juices dripping down his balls and pooling on the floor, juices soaking my ass crock, salted juices ....
What's with all the juices??? The above are just a small sampling of the sex scenes. YUCK, grab a bucket and a mob for this woman.
I continued listening hoping it would get better and story wise it's interesting, but romance feels incomplete and the sex scenes seem to highlight odd, unsexy things. The jump from them having sex to being in love isn't believable but the biker story, murder and resolution is interesting. There is a lot of repetition and editing issues."

Kade loves his life in the MC, he has his brothers and his bike, but what he wants most of all is Sienna, but she's off limits as she's the daughter of the MC Prez and she won't give him the time of day anyway. Except one night when they both have too much to drink and all Kade's wishes comes true, just for that evening. But hey, not for Sienna when she realizes a couple of weeks later that that night will be with her for years to come...yes she's pregnant. She still can't have anything to show more do with Kade, as her daddy will kill him if he finds out. What's she going to do? But Kade's a tough guy, he never gives up, or will he when he finds out about the baby? And if that's not enough to contend with, a rival gang is causing trouble for them all.
A very enjoyable story. I'm looking forward to more from the Righteous Outlaws MC series. show less

Aubree is tired of her parent's rules and she's definitely tired of entertaining William, her friend for forever, but not who she wants to be marry. Home for a year to figure out what she's want, finding Cash and his tattoos and bike sexy is not in the plans. All Cash can see is her sunshine, his Sunshine. One taste is enough to hook him in and that's not him, he can have any girl, he doesn't get tied down, but there's something about Aubree. She doesn't fit in with his MC, his show more life, his rule breaking, but when she's exposed to the life he finds he likes her there more and more.
Warrant, the first of the Righteous Outlaws MC series, introduces us to Cash and Aubree, two people from opposite sides of the track. These two take opposites attract seriously and when Sunshine meets dark, clothes are flying and the chemistry is on fire. I loved Aubree's desire to break the norm and I really liked that Cash just liked girls, but found Aubree not leaving his mind. Good girl meets bad boy and has some really delicious, forbidden sex. I found myself really enjoying their interactions with one another, the scenes with just these two came to life. Unfortunately, the general story of Cash and his MC is very loose and it's hard to grasp. While Aubree's life is easy to picture, and predict, Cash's needs more world building. While I liked their instant connection, I couldn't imagine everyone's friends/families just letting the two be together without a fight. Some of it comes across as convenient and too easy. The secondary characters seem to have interesting backgrounds and I found myself liking them just based on their brief interactions with the two main characters. At just 124 pages, this is a fast-paced full length novel with some great smut and it made me want to read more about the Righteous Outlaws. Despite the minor flaws, I couldn't put this book down and definitely recommend it to those that enjoy forbidden romance and MC books. show less

Savannah Rylan has brought us her new series Twisted Intentions with the first book being Twisted Metal. I've read just about all of Savannah's books and I have to say this one was different for me. It was MC, Mafia tie-ins, violence, kidnapping, drama, reverse-harem and lots of twists and turns. It was a long read with a slow burn romance.
This book starts us off with Naomi who is a nurse and engaged to a police officer. They are high school sweethearts but Naomi has found herself show more questioning her life with him. She realizes she's spent their whole relationship serving him and his wants and needs, not getting anything back for herself in return. Her sick father ends up in a situation and Naomi trades herself for her father. She's taken by Ranger, Dutch, and Trooper. That's when things get interesting in her life and thanks to the guys she finds out all of the lies she's been surrounded by and never realized. Especially the truth about her relationship.
After seeing the guys aren't really all that bad even after the things they have threatened her with she takes a liking to them. And they take an instant liking to her, especially teasing her. Now they have dark sides to them but they are good at hiding them until the time is right. While Naomi is with them they straighten out what her father messed up and also help her with the problems in her life.
I had to give this book 3.5 stars. I couldn't really connect with any of the characters although the plot was good. For something as spicy as a reverse-harem I didn't like the slow build-up with all the teasing and leading up but no follow through until once at the very end. And with there only being once scene with them all it wasn't as explicit as I would have expected or liked. Although I can see why others would enjoy this book, it wasn't really for me. show less
