After I read Bones I could not wait to read Wrath. Wrath is the 3rd book in L. Wilder's Satan's Fury MC: Second Generation series and I loved it. This book had twists and turns, surprises, love, and self-doubt and it was spicy. I started reading it and couldn't put it down!
Wrath has grown up in the club being Clutch's brother-in-law and after the trauma of his childhood and his time serving overseas, it's been decided that he will step into the new enforcer spot since Stitch is ready to show more step down. Stitch sees the same things inside him and knows that Wrath is meant for it. Mia is back from college working at a local photography studio. In college, she dated all the 'right' types of good guys and they did nothing for her. Now she wants to walk on the wild side and has her sights set on Wrath. There's always been a connection between them and now Mia wants to act on it. Mia is also Stitch's daughter and man is she. She has his take life by the horns personality and his temper. This is one girl you do not want to mess with and you'll read why. We also get to see what happens with the High School teacher that started trouble with the club in Bones which was what I was hoping for and it's good. I don't want to give anything away.
I gave this book a 5-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I just loved Mia and how when she knew she wanted something in life she was going to get it and she did. Maybe she shouldn't have taken Darby's advice to do it but it worked out. And seeing Wrath falling was awesome. Going back and forth in trying to fight the attraction cause he knows Stitch will kill him and giving in to her cause he couldn't fight it. In all the turmoil in his head, she brought him the peace he never thought he'd have in his life. It was an all-around beautiful love story that sucked me in from the start and left me wanting more.

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a sucker for anthologies. It is the easiest way to discover new authors and also get reacquainted with old favorites. MC romance is one of my favorite subgenres so getting an MC anthology with a Christmas theme is like a Festivus Miracle.
I, initially, discovered that this anthology was even going to be a thing because of my deep love for all things Serena Akeroyd and India R. Adams. They sure did not disappoint in this collection of stories. It show more was very bittersweet to come back into the worlds that they have created and because of that, I have been eager for this anthology since I first heard that it was going to be released. It was not a disappointment by any stretch of the imagination and was well worth the wait. All of the authors did an exceptional job.
Each story in this collection was different. Some were sweet and some were a little more heartbreaking. Yet, one thing that they all had in common was the camaraderie and loyalty that I have come to expect from MC books. Regardless of whether it was a 1% club or one that stayed law-abiding, the loyalty and brotherhood always stand out. It was great to see some of the best authors in this genre show off their skills.
I discovered a couple of authors that were new to me which is great because now I have new books to binge on. Some of the other stories reminded me that I had some catching up to do when the series had gotten lost in my ever-growing TBR list which again has me excited because, YAY, more books!
This is a great collection of stories that will easily fit into time constraints over the upcoming holidays. Highly recommend this anthology as there was not a bad story of the bunch. show less

"You're everything, and don't ever let anyone make you think different." - Grim
I'm so excited that L. Wilder is giving us more Satan's Fury MC this year with a new chapter, Little Rock. This one is an age-gap damsel in distress insta-lust story between two single parents. And it was not an easy read that's for sure. It even got me tearing up in the beginning because of what happened.
Grim is the enforcer for the Little Rock chapter and we first met him in Rooster. That is where this book show more starts. Preacher, Grim's prez, sent him to Washington to bring Beckett home. It was Christmas time and Beckett needed to spend it with his family whether he was ready to go home or not. That decision had consequences nobody thought about beforehand and after what Beckett does the club is thrown into a war with The Assassins that Preacher was trying to avoid.
Jenna is a single mom who keeps trying to make something of her life for her daughter Luna and every time she's close something happens that drags her back down. Unfortunately for her, she has to rely on her brother Steven who is a member of The Assassins. She makes the choice that she'd be safer living on the street or in her car when Steven's friend threatens Luna and her. Fortunately for her, she doesn't get out of there before the Satan's Fury comes.
Another streak of bad luck hits her but this time things start looking up. When Grim was younger his mom and he were in her position until Gus helped them out and now he's going to pay it forward for Jenna. As much as Grim tries to avoid her even ordering Skid to stay with them he just can't. And again when things are looking up Jenna's hit with another blow courtesy of her brother. Luna gets taken and Grim the club will stop at nothing to get her back.
I just loved this book so much for a new series. Jenna is the sweetest mom with that mama bear instinct that comes out when anyone hurts her daughter. Her inner strength has grown from being a survivor for most of her life so everytime something knocks her down she gets back up and keeps pushing forward. Grim is a man who has no interest in love or finding it, he was happy with the club girls or so he thought. Luna was the cutest in the world. She stole my heart just like Grims. And I liked the dynamic between Skid and Grim, it was hilarious and when I learned their connection it all made sense (you'll have to find out for yourself). I don't know who's books next but I'll definitely be reading it!

Bones is the 2nd book in L. Wilder's Satan's Fury MC: Second Generation series and it was a great slow-burn read. Reading along on the character's journey to understand the person they were growing up to be since the trauma in their lives was exhilarating.
Bones is the stepson of Stitch who became his hero as a young boy traumatized by his father and trying to adapt to a life with Aspergers syndrome. This is the 1st MC book I've read with a character like this and it was heartwarming how he show more fit in with his MC brothers. And it was also heartbreaking to learn of the personal struggles he has faced to be normal and fit in like everyone else even though he knows he is different. Elsie doesn't see him that way though, she considers him a normal person and she never would have thought he suffered from a disability if he hadn't told her. Elsie had a hard teenage life losing all of her family tragically and finding herself homeless until the club took her in. Bones and Elise immediately fell for each other but it took them years before they took the next step after friendship. The club is fighting an enemy they don't know and are doing everything they can to find out who. They didn't realize until it was almost too late that Elsie had been lured into that trouble. Their relationship was a slow burn mostly because Bones was preoccupied with proving to the club he wasn't a failure and he could find the enemy but, it kept him from Elsie most of the time. Will the club find the enemy in time? Will Bones learn to make Elsie as big a priority as the club is to him?
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 3-spicy rating. This book pulls at the heartstrings of anyone who's had to live with a disability or knows someone with one. The struggles of Bones can be felt by anyone. The way Elsie understands him and supports him the right way is all anyone can ask for. She is one strong brave loyal woman to Bones and the club, her new family. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading Q before this one to know the backstory of the enemy they are facing now. In L. Wilder's fashion, the characters were raw like only she can write. Every time I read her books I know I'm going to find a strong woman who faced her trauma and kicked its ass to become the strong woman they are supposed to be with a strong man by her side to support her. show less
