Likened to a Chicken Soup book, but it's not. The authors are mostly inspirational speakers, not as varied as the Chicken Soup collections, so they had a lot of sameness to them. So we indeed quite inspiring. The quotes at the beginning of the chapters spoke to me the most. When I bought the book, someone had left a newspaper clipping that related to the content of the book inside. I left that for the next reader to find.
Chocolate for a Mother's Heart : Inspiring Stories That Celebrate the Spirit of Motherhood by Kay Allenbaugh
Mothers do it all they teach, listen, guide and protect. They shelter us from life's unexpected storms. Nurture us into adulthood, and know just when to push us from the nest. Now the author offers up a rich, souldful celebration of motherhood, on that any woman will love.
Chocolate For A Teen's Soul: Life-changing Stories For Young Women About Growing Wise And Growing Strong by Kay Allenbaugh
I feel teen girls can relate to this book more than any other book because it tells of stories that they might have experienced at a time in their lives. This book is very touching because it tells of young teens lives and what they went through to get where they are now. This book talks about how they can fall in love and just as quickly fall out of love. It tells about how a love can die and can make you seem all alone in the world.
Chocolate for a Teen's Dreams : Heartwarming Stories About Making Your Wishes Come True by Kay Allenbaugh
Numerous stories from women that were important or turning points in their lives. The book is meant to inspire teens to do better, to get through their tough times, to reach for more. I thought it was a good collection.
