Sandy Johnson spent three years traveling the country talking too and more importantly listening to elders of various tribes around the country. This is what she felt as the highlights of what they had to say. Overall; a good book with clues as to many historical events not often covered and hints to wisdom seldom heard. An informative read opening paths to new areas.
Sandy Johnson traveled the world to gather the life stories and teachings of Tibet's exiled elders: the doctors, the state oracle, and the great women masters, among others. Here her journey unfolds in vivid detail, as she shares the remarkable secrets of these teachers, told in their own voices. The Book of Tibetan Elders is an unprecedented chronicle of some of the world's most precious wisdom, and a rare documentation of a group of spiritual teachers on the brink of extinction.
