I'm still waiting for Dover to catch up with technology. They're still printing for cut-and-paste publishing, which wastes lots of page space that could be used to provide additional designs.
In this collection of alphabets you get:
1) Unical (7 pages -- just use your computer)
2) Solid black alphabet with zoomorphics and swirls (4 pages -- basic and not authentic)
3) Alphabet with knotwork and zoomorphics inside and out (4 pages -- similar to the style of illuminated texts)
4) Alphabet with show more letters made of individual zoomorphic designs (4 pages -- most of these are great)
5) Solid black work alphabet with knotwork as portion of letter (2 pages -- very modern adaptation; not very attractive from artistic standpoint)
6) Large block alphabet with knotwork and zoomorphics for filler (6 pages -- blocky, but nice fills)
7) Romanesqe solid black alphabet (2 pages -- knotwork in empty spaces inside and around letters)
All in all, it's an okay assortment of alphabets. Alphabets 3 and 4 made it worth purchasing. show less

Useful but fairly limited but if you need to add some pretty classic celtic designs to something you're working on this is the business.
This Dover book and CD has more illustrations than usual. Although it was designed originally to be photocopied, the accompanying CD makes it more useful. All the designs fit either in a circle or square.
This work is most useful because of the CD that accompanies the book of line drawings. It consists exclusively of borders and frames.
