Maybe I'm not cool enough to get this. I kept waiting for it to be good, but it never got there for me. The art didn't bother me, but the multiple storylines never seemed to go anywhere. I kept going back and scrutinizing things in the background to see if there was some hidden message that I wasn't getting. If there was something there, I didn't find it.

It wasn't awful, but it was a book where I spent the first 2/3 hoping it would get better, and the last third wishing it would end.
I enjoyed this early work from Matt Kindt which he and Jason Hall created. I have enjoyed his recent Mind MGMT series, and it's great to see his early art and storytelling.

This book can be a quick read, but the characters are interesting ones for a noir story. I also enjoyed the interplay between the author and the actors of the radio play. What makes for a good radio drama? You'll find out!
With a name like Pistolwhip, I was expecting something a little more western. That said, this is a great little noir story. Nice touch following the various points of view in each subsequent chapter.
The artwork in this was hands down amazing! I have to look up what else Cliff Chiang has done because I love his style. The story itself was okay. I don't care for revenge type stories.
