To be honest, I read this book because the cover is HOT!
I kept reading, just waiting for the part of the book that would match up with the cover. And it didn't happen like I expected it to and was over way too quickly.
This book was enjoyable, but I found myself getting a little confused over who's perspective I was reading from as it switched so much. The story itself is a twisted, uncomfortable tale of seedy things that happen behind the scenes in the lives of politicians. And I did NOT show more expect the ending! It left me feeling slightly disturbed and sad. This was an okay book and I do plan on continuing with the series and reading the next one, Semper Fi. show less
