The writing was excellent in this book and nothing endears me to a writer or a book more than humor. I found myself busting up laughing at some of the things the youngest sister, Ina, said.
The characters were all lovable except the bad guys and I liked that all of the sisters knew how to fight but I did roll my eyes a few times because they seemed to be too wonderful at times.
The story featured Godet and Gordon's romance but also delved a little into the three sister's potential romances show more which made me hope for this to turn into a series. show less

Alisa Adams did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. Her descriptions of the Scottish countryside was fantastic, and the plot flows seamlessly. However,
I felt as if, at times, she had too much detail concerning minor things, especially if you are an avid Scottish reader, however, I feel it was necessary to draw readers into the story, otherwise, an awesome read. I enjoyed watching the characters grow, their romance blossom and the way the clan stuck together through one's show more hardship.
Filled with romance, a sweet passion, danger, turmoil and a HEA, everything one enjoys about Scottish Romance. Oh, and the villain was a nasty old English Lord.
Fast paced, well written and well worth the time to savor and enjoy.
Entertaining, compelling and intriguing! Can't wait to read more from this amazing storyteller. show less

Too cheesy
This was just too cheesy and corny.
The sisters are adorable but the dialogue was annoying as heck and ridiculous.
