A coloring and activity book with chapters? Well it's certainly thick enough to accommodate them (though the 84-pages claimed on the back cover is counting the front and back covers, inside and out).
The first chapter is a rhyme using the letters of Christmas to start each line.
Then "A Wintery Sort of Day" shows the Pooh friends enjoying various winter activities like ice skating and sledding.
"The Gift of the Piglet" has Piglet wanting to give Pooh his very own special snowflake, but it show more turns out they are harder to catch and keep than you'd think.
"Here Comes Christmas" has everyone in the Hundred-Acre Wood getting ready for Christmas, trimming trees and wrapping presents.
Weirdly, all the Pooh friends are present in the book except Owl. I wonder if the anonymous author decided Owl had flown south for the winter? Or maybe Owl knew that despite the multiple chapters and all the extra pages, this would still a pretty bland coloring book experience, so he took some PTO.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:

I really liked this book for many reasons. One reason is for the illustrations. All of the illustrations have great detail and color. You can see the emotions of the characters in each page. I also liked the language of the book. It was very descriptive and explanatory. The author described all of the characters and their emotions to great extents. For instance, when Snow White would do her chores she would daydream. The author described Snow White dream of “a handsome Prince…[who] would show more come and carry her off to his castle in the clouds.” The big idea of this story is about real beauty coming from within. You cannot be truly beautiful unless your heart is not pure. show less
You don't even need to go much beyond the copyright page to be charmed. A little mouse, leading a floppy eared elephant, is hilarious. And the red hat was darling. I could just imagine, "The acrobats, the jugglers, the tumblers, the snake charmers, scramble to their places on the train." This is another gem in childen's literature.
E is for Enterprise . . . K is for Kirk . . . S is for Spock . . . T is for Transporter . . . U is for Uhura . . . .
This Little Golden Book is fun for every STAR TREK enthusiast, not just young alphabet-learning pre-readers. It’s clever [look for references to four shows in the STAR TREK universe] and many characters, although not mentioned by name, are included in the illustrations.
However, as with earlier books in this series, some of the illustrations more closely resemble unflattering show more caricatures. And there’s a strange disconnect between the cover and the text: C is for Captains on the cover [with a picture that includes Kirk, Janeway, and Sisco but Picard is oddly absent]; in the text, C is for Communicator. Nevertheless, there’s much to appreciate in the choices made for this STAR TREK-themed A-B-C book; fans of the series may find a smile or two within these pages. show less
