OH MY!! What the hell did I just read? Taken, anonymous boy meets girl online as writing partners. She doesn't know he's a famous author (who hides his identity from the world). His rules are simple: no personal info, but he keeps breaking that rule over and over because he can't help himself. Oh, did I mention he's TAKEN? They meet face to face when he takes his rabbit out for a walk (yes, you read that right) but she has no idea who he is! AND THEN... things get out of hand.
Roped me in, show more held me captive... I didn't read this book, I devoured it. And then... AND THEN... the epilogue. W. T. F?????
I need the next book, like yesterday! show less

M Pierce had me hooked from the first page and putting this story down was not option. This is a well written epic lust at first online sight story with an erotic twist. It includes characters you don't want to love but do anyway. Good characters that do bad things, and circumstances that read true. The true love forever does not happen in an instant and they really have to work for a HEA. I am looking forward to catching up with Matt and Hannah in Book 2. Whatever the author has in store show more for this couple will hopefully continue to be well written with excellent pacing and character development.
The ending was so sweet and satisfying until I read those last two pages and I was gutted. It is clear I may be overly invested in this story as I've spent time searching Maryse's boards for all possible outcomes for book 2 and found the author's blog http://mpiercefiction.com/ filled with hope, well written musings and epic computer building. I am a fan. I trust that book 2 will be well worth the read and will shoot to the top of my TBR on release day. show less

Can't say I was expecting much, didn't know the auther, cover didn't reveal much and the price (77p) made me wonder whether to bother or not, but oh my days am I glad I bothered!
I literally could not put this down and was just 50% in when I was looking to see how long I'd have to wait for subsequent books!
Matt an author, Hannah a reader they strike up a relationship while writing a joint story online. He's a loner, with problems! She just wants a man to care and keep her interest! Talk show more about a collision made in heaven!
My advice - don't open this book until you have done all your chores, dinner is cooked and ready to be eaten, kids are in school/bed and you have no planned interruptions because once you open the cover you'll be furious with any interruptions until you read that very last page! show less

4.5 stars for me. OKAY... this had a lot going for it... but I can totally see why some people would have issues.
I just starts out with a bang! Like WOW! I was hooked from page 1, but then I was getting a bit uncomfortable with all the sex.. not that I'm complaining, but WOW... there was a lot and I didn't care for him calling her a slut while they were screwing.... at least he didn't really think of her like that in RL. And, he did really come to love her.
Also, I can see some people show more having issues with cheaters but... In my opinion, that is RL... there are times that people meet "the one" when they are already in a relationship. Yes, it sucked that he had a girlfriend that she was out of the country... but it's not like he went out to find someone else... Him and Hannah just happened and he was upset that she shared personal things with him, because he then saw her differently. It was also a bad situation because how do you break up with someone when they are out of the country? It just sucked for everyone. Ultimately, he should have talked to Hannah about his girlfriend before they had sex and let her make her own choice. My thoughts are that this is real life... people do fall in love with other people, and should someone really have to stay in a relationship if they aren't happy? My answer is no.. .life is short, and everyone has a right to happiness.
The book (after about 55%) got into deeper issues... thankfully! I really grew to love both Matt and Hannah. And, I was just so happy that she went back for him... and she was there for him. And, she finally broke through is shell.
The ending was shocking! I was like, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED." I so need book 2! show less
