Tim Bayne

Timothy Bayne, PhD has taught at Macquarie University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Manchester, where he is currently Professor of Philosophy. He is the author of The Unity of Consciousness (OUP, 2010) and Thought: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press, 2013). Professor Bayne has also edited a number of books, including Delusions and Self-Deception: Affective Influences on Belief-Formation (Psychology Press, 2008), The Oxford Companion to Consciousness (OUP, 2009), and Cognitive Phenomenology (OUP, 2011). He is currently writing a textbook on the philosophy of mind.
