Great start to a new series. Knight's SEAL kicks off the start of Dangerous Curve which in a twist is about 5 dangerous women.
A former SEAL team leader now runs his own CIA special op company called The Knight Agency. When its found out that Naval Intelligence Officer Lt. Nicole Locke is being kept prisoner by a cartel leader he enlist his daughter Elisabeth Knight who works for him now and used to be a NIO and Navy SEAL Sam Gentry who used to be under his command to go in undercover as a show more married couple.
Problem is he doesnt know what Sam and Lisa used to be an item 5 years ago until Sam found out who her father was and broke things off. So not only do they have to deal with going undercover to rescue Nicole and try and take the cartel leader alive but they also have to deal with their unresolved feelings while on the op.
This looks to be a great series and I cannot wait for the next book. show less

COWBOY-SEXY was a good read. I would have liked to have seen more depth to these two war tormented veterans and a little less cliched premise of the "fake engagement". As a former Marine officer myself, I would have liked to see more military presence in Cammie and Finn both. The military portions of the story were accurate but Michaels didn't quite capture the command presence these two should have had (which granted would be VERY difficult for anyone to do). The characters were still show more interesting and the prose well written. I liked the way Finn finds out that he has suffered from incorrect assumptions and the situation in which he was wounded was not at all what he thought it was. This was very true to life. I also liked that these two didn't jump straight into the sack. They actually got to know each other first.

GOODNESS! Talk about missing out. I loved this novel and the two bone-headed couple who let circumstances get in the way of their being together! Through a misunderstanding when Audrey returned home and saw Matthew kissing a blonde bimbo after just one week of leaving Matt so that he could fulfill his dreams of racing cars, she went back to college, but then the Twin Towers fell and she enlisted in the National Guard, but now he's back for a wedding and they agreed to act like they were show more together to keep the press off the happy couple. Matthew "Stone" Bennett couldn't believe the first person that ran into him was Audrey McNeil Watson, the girl who left him to go to college, but now that she was back, he realized that he never stopped loving her and this time he wouldn't let her go come hell or high water! show less
I thought this was a good read. The writing flowed well, and although this is my first of this series, I didn't feel like I had missed out on anything. Vince and Emma were good together, and I thought they had great chemistry. I know why they got along so great though...because he thought she was adorable, and she thought he was hot! :) I wanted to shake them a few times, because their whole drama could have been avoided with one conversation. I liked the secondary characters, Macy and Dom show more were both good friends to Emma. I thought that the ending was great for these two. I would like to find out what happens with Dom. This is a first for me from this author, but it won't be my last!
