Wit and wisdom from Marg's kitchen table. I have had this book forever and can reread it every year and it never gets stale. My copy is signed.
Review of eBook

Bakers looking for recipes for quick breads and loaves [sweet and otherwise] will find much to appreciate here. This little book gives readers a variety of recipes, some familiar, some intriguing, all tried, tested . . . and yummy. A mixer will make preparation easier; both experienced and beginning bakers will appreciate the wide variety of recipes and are sure to find breads they will make again and again. Most of the ingredients called for in the recipes are items that are show more likely to be in every reader’s kitchen; the directions are clear and concise, the preparation easy, the result delicious.

The Loaf recipes include Cinnamon, Lemon, Apricot, Apple, Maraschino Cherry, Cranberry Orange, Old Fashioned Date, Fruit, Chocolate Caramel, Marmalade, Pumpkin and Orange, Pineapple Coconut, Peachy Zucchini, Pumpkin Cream Cheese, Banana ‘N Strawberry, Lemon Poppy Seed, Gingerbread, Chocolate Chip, Herb Beer, Parmesan Zucchini, Shrimp ‘N Garlic, and Salmon.

The quick bread recipes include Banana, Carrot and Raisin, Bacon ‘N Beer, and Pizza.

There’s a bonus section that includes one recipe from each of the author’s other recipe books. They include Carrot Cake, Cream Cheese Frosting, Grandma’s Best Sugar Cookies, Best Ever Brownies, Cinnamon Swirl Muffins, Mom’s Meatloaf, Tomato Macaroni Soup, and Honey Mustard Chicken, Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes, Gingerbread Men, and Best Ever Fudge.

Highly recommended.

Very good recipes. The book could be very helpful to the new cook. It is marred by not having an interactive table of contents. I highlighted each recipe and that worked for me.
