You'd never know it from this commentary which bears his name. It is a very extensive commentary, available in several inexpensive editions, so if you want something cheap and thorough, this might be for you. But be warned: It is conservative, and conservative of the type that doesn't give much hearing to modern Biblical scholarship. Acts provides practical instruction for Christians in today's world. It shows that the wall of partition was broken down between the Jews and Gentiles, it gives clear indications of the high spiritual standards set for Christians, it shows God's powerful working through His people and His power to defeat Satanic forces.

Need to be read carefully. Strong reliance on Westcott and Hort's opinions. Study of proponets of both the Textus Receptus and Majority/Byzantine Text ought to be studied in order to develope ones own position.
