Genealogy as Pastime and Profession by Donald Lines Jacobus
This is a very short book - but very packed. It was originally published in 1930, so some of the advice about search techniques are dated. But otherwise Jacobus' writing is very relevant today. Its well worth reading for anyone who is interested in genealogy.
