For what Pike can usually do, this was a weak book for his talent.
It was my habit, years ago, to inscribe my name, the date I acquired a book, and where, on the inside flypaper. This one says "Eastern Shore MD, Eaton, March 1984", no name. I suspect it is because it is the last book I acquired before my name changed with marriage on that trip.
