Nonfiction/craft. you have to look to the Great Internet to figure out how you want to make your closures (I like the button-and-loop not included in here), but the instructions are otherwise clear, well illustrated, and good. I can definitely see teens, tweens, and adults getting into this.

Good tool and bead type information. Clear photos and good basic instructions. Later in the book, some step instructions aren't clear, which isn't good for a beginner.

This book is an excellent resource for those starting off in the hobby of Zentangling. It is concise and to-the-point, with no unnecessary information and enough examples and tangles to get a new Tangler started. This book is not intended for experienced Zentanglers; the tangles and techniques shown are likely to already be in the repertoires of intermediate/advanced Tanglers.

This is a beautiful collection of Zentangle and Zentangle Inspired Art from a variety of Certified Zentangle Teachers. The diversity of artwork shows that even though the method is simple, anyone can tailor it to their own style and make their art as simple or elaborate as they like.

I'm especially excited because this is the first time my artwork has been included in a book and because several of my friends' work is included as well. The book is very nicely put together and is a real show more collector's item for Zentangle lovers.
