This is a beautiful, well-illustrated book. An inspiration to develop your own sense of art and craft. Instructions are clear, and have a sense of possibility. The variety of collage can be endless.

I thought this would be a book about how to set up a workshop for metal work. Instead it is a book of fairly simple metal crafting projects for beginners. Cold connections are briefly mentioned but not demonstrated and soldiering doesn't seem to be used at all.
This is a beautiful book that includes a brief history of soapmaking, materials needed, information on base soaps, fragrances, natural additives, colouring soaps, molds, equipment, complete directions, lots of fabulous soap recipes and recipes for bath salts, soaks, tablets, and bombs. It also includes recipes for herbal mixes that you put in little packets and throw in the tub, sachets, potpourri, bubble bath, bath oil, massage oil and dusting powder. There is also a section in the back show more that shows you how to put together groups of products for gift giving. It's a very complete reference book with beautiful photographs that any newbie can use to make soaps and other luxury items for the bath. show less
