This book offers the reader a wondrous journey into the myths and legends of the world with every turn of the page. The illustrations are a colorful, modern, and enticing feast for the eyes and offer a sampling of a wide variety of today's underground art culture ranging from illustrators and comics to gallery artists. Highly recommended for any graphic novel, art enthusiast or cryptozoology fan.

Silly sexist sexy gag cartoons, but fun in their own way. Covey over-designs these in my opinion.

This book was wonderful. I was pleased from the minute I first flipped through the pages to the minute I read the last page. The artwork is stunning and the author included a number of the more "unknown" members of the beasts of folklore. Many of those included in this book were new to me, which was nice. Definitely a book I will be sharing with others and showing off. The second book was recently released and I plan on purchasing it soon!
