Originally printed in 1948, this was the standard short survey of the period for thirty years. Readable, but definitely only the first step into study of a very complex phenomena.
This brief (40 pages) booklet is a selection of letters written by Edward Grace, a London merchant who decided to enter the triangle trade including the slave trade.
