Stunning photographs on every page reveal the wonders of the ocean in this DK Eyewitness book. Glossary defines terms used to describe the ocean. Good research resource.
In this book, we discover different animals and plants that live close to one another. Some animals even work together to help one another while other animals such as parasites can harm other animals. Plants can help animals but animals that live inside plants harm plants. Plants can even be attracted by other plants. Side-by-side tells us about some of the interesting relationships between plants and animals. This book is filled with colorful photographs of these animal and plant show more relationships. This is a great book to use in a science class! show less

This book has a multitude of information on ocean life. The print is really tiny and the amount per page is a little overwhelming. The book covers topics like ocean history, coral reefs, predators of the ocean, animal homes and habitats, and oil and gas exploration in oceans. It's definitely not a book you read cover to cover but one you would skim for topics to discuss with your class, pending your content. The book was informative and the photographs were good. I shared a portion of the show more book with my students regarding waves and weather. show less
THis book talks about different thing you would find in the ocean. Great for preschool/schoolage
