As a 20th Century Miniaturist, I am constantly looking for good source material. This book is a terrific compendium of photographs and information on the styles that shaped and were shaped by the Twentieth Century. If you're looking for in-depth information on the whys and hows of a particular design, this is NOT the book for you, but if you want to the 30,000 foot look, this book is just dandy.

All color, nice pictures. However, it might be called "The Look of the Century for the Well-to-Do." Most people couldn't indulge, at least at the time when these products were initially released.

Interesting to see what was predicted in 1998 25 years later.
