A sweet story, though I did find myself becoming somewhat irritated over the timeline. It may be time for me to take a break from these Harlequins for a few days.

I liked both the hero and heroine. I expected the hero to take longer to come around or to act like more of a jerk, but in the end I was satisfied with his behavior.

Pretty well done book where the heroine flusters the hero which is a favorite trope of mine and I wish there were more of them. The characterizations of both of them were well done. The heroine had more depth than might have been expected from the set up and the hero was a kind man who was willing to accept his responsibilities and learn from his mistakes etc. I liked it and would be willing to try more by this author.

While I enjoyed parts of it, I felt there was very little character development for both of the protagonists. Everything got explained away in less than a paragraph. Though, this is probably due to the length of the book more than the author not giving her characters any depth. I am looking forward to the sequel because I really enjoyed the protagonist of that book in this one.
