An excellent advanced grammar of Biblical Hebrew. Jouon-Muraoka (JM) provides as much depth as GKC with the benefit of modern revision.
The discussions are a bit clearer and more expansive than in other such grammars, and Muraoka provides plenty of examples to demonstrate what is being said.
JM requires a good working knowledge of Hebrew language and grammar. It is not designed for the beginner.
Nevertheless, JM is excellent both as a reference grammar and to gain greater understanding of the show more language. show less
