Judith Siess is a recognized expert in one-person librarianship and interpersonal networking. She received her M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982 and has worked in various industries -- industrial process automation, aerospace, show more biotechnology, and agricultural economics. She founded the Agricultural Economics Reference Organization in 1980, was the first chair of the Solo Librarians' Division of the Special Libraries Association, and was a member of the first People-to-People Citizen Ambassador delegation on Information Management and Special Librarianship to the Republic of South Africa show less
